This month we have been studying the 1800s so we decided to do our pioneer unit in March instead of July. I am very pregnant right now so this pioneer unit wasn’t anywhere close to the amount of effort that I have put into the past 3 years but I am happy that we at least still did something! My mom and nephew joined us for a day of pioneer activities. We filled out some worksheets to figure out what to pack in our wagons, dipped beeswax candles, washed some doll clothes and towels outside and put them on the line to dry, and pulled each other around in our little pioneer wagon.
