Our science topic for this month is rocks. We’ve gone on a couple of hikes since the weather has been nice and the kids stuffed their pockets and backpacks with rocks to add to their rock collections.
We’ve been having fun putting our rock collections to good use. We’ve been using them to build cities, castles, caves, houses, lava pits, mines, volcanos, mountains… whatever their imaginations come up with. My boys came up with this idea.
