Campout #5 2020: Heber Mountain

We had a lot going on in July so we weren’t able to go camping.  But we went on campout #5 for 2020 this weekend.  We went to Heber Mountain and it was so pretty up there!  Lots of aspen trees and wildflowers.  

I have wanting to be more intentional and consistent with nature journaling so I sat down for a while in front of these trees and drew what I saw.

The kids and their cousins had fun making a little restaurant with all kinds of foods made from flowers, rocks, and bits of wood. I love how nature makes pretend play so easy.

I saw this track in the mud. Maybe it’s from a mountain lion?
