Swen and Thilda’s family didn’t have much money, so often dinners in the evening consisted mainly of a large heap of mashed potatoes, on a platter, in the middle of the table. Each child had his own spoon, and enjoyed tunneling through the mound of potatoes until they met in the middle.
So that’s what we did tonight! 🙂 The kids throughly enjoyed it.
We also took this opportunity to talk about how blessed we are to have money to buy food and not be stuck eating the same thing over and over again.
