We haven’t been on as many actual campouts this summer compared to the last couple of years, but we have still gone camping a handful of times (and have plans for at least a couple more before it gets too cold). We have also done quite a few more campfire lunches/dinners this year than we have in the past.
It’s so nice to go spend time in the mountains and have a campfire…with less work than an official campout. So far this spring/summer, we have had 7 meals (besides overnight campouts) in the mountains.
We are so lucky to live so close to the mountains.
