One of our topics that we have been learning about this month is insects. Today we had an insect themed Fika. We ate butterflies (made from bananas and pretzels), snails (made from celery, cream cheese, apples, and green onions) and homemade honey oat granola bars (in honor of bees).
We listened to some insect themed music like Chorus of Flowers and Insects by Tchaikovsky and Flight of the Bumblebee by Rimsky-Korsakov.
We also read more out of O Bee Wise, What Can I Say More? (The Millennial Instructor: Volume 1) that we have been reading throughout this month.
We have really enjoyed learning about insects, especially bees.
