Bob Ross Date

Date night last night, with Bob Ross as the third wheel. 🙂 Jershon got all the supplies, made paint palettes out of cardboard (covered with wax paper), easels from our saw horses and clamps and studio lighting courtesy of our work lamp. We followed along with a video of Bob Ross teaching us how to paint a mountain/water scene. It was a really fun date! 🙂

Jershon even accidentally got paint on me, just like on our first date (when we painted a mural on an old door). Neither one of us are painters (although Jershon is definitely more artistically inclined than me) but I thought our paintings turned out surprisingly well! 🙂 It was worth it, even though we didn’t finish and get cleaned up until 1:00 am. Haha

This makes 75 weeks in a row of going on a date! Most of our dates this summer haven’t felt as “official” since we’ve just gone for a walk or laid out under the stars after the kids are in bed (during our campouts), but we have still been intentional about doing something, with just the two of us. And 99.9% of the time, our dates are outside of the house. This date was a home date, but it counts.
